Overo
Overo is a coat pattern commonly found in American Paint Horses and Appaloosas. It is characterized by irregular, splashy patches of white that do not cross the back of the horse between its ears and tail. The colors of the patches can vary widely, including combinations of black, brown, and chestnut.
This pattern is distinct from other types of pinto patterns, such as Tobiano, which has more uniform and symmetrical markings. Overo horses often have unique and striking appearances, making them popular in various equestrian disciplines and among horse enthusiasts.
