Oude Testament
The "Oude Testament," or "Old Testament," is the first part of the Christian Bible, consisting of texts sacred in both Judaism and Christianity. It includes historical narratives, laws, poetry, and prophecies, detailing the creation of the world, the history of the Israelites, and their covenant with God.
The Old Testament is divided into several sections, including the Torah (the first five books), the Historical Books, the Wisdom Literature, and the Prophets. Key figures include Moses, David, and Isaiah, each playing significant roles in the religious and moral teachings found within these texts.
