Ottomotoren
Ottomotoren, or Otto engines, are a type of internal combustion engine that operates on the Otto cycle. They use a mixture of air and fuel, typically gasoline, which is compressed and ignited by a spark plug. This process generates power to drive vehicles and machinery.
These engines are widely used in cars, motorcycles, and small equipment due to their efficiency and reliability. Nikolaus Otto, a German engineer, developed the first successful Otto engine in the 1870s, laying the foundation for modern automotive technology.
