Ottawa Renegades
The Ottawa Renegades were a professional Canadian football team based in Ottawa, Ontario. They played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 2002 until 2005. The team was established to bring back professional football to Ottawa after the previous franchise, the Ottawa Rough Riders, ceased operations in 1996.
The Renegades played their home games at Frank Clair Stadium, which is located in Lansdowne Park. Despite having a passionate fan base, the team struggled with financial issues and inconsistent performance on the field, leading to their eventual suspension of operations in 2006.
