Oregon State Government
The Oregon State Government is the governing body of the U.S. state of Oregon. It operates under a framework established by the Oregon Constitution, which outlines the structure and functions of the government. The government is divided into three branches: the executive, led by the Governor; the legislative, consisting of the Oregon Legislative Assembly; and the judicial, which includes the Oregon Supreme Court and other courts.
The executive branch is responsible for enforcing laws, while the legislative branch creates them. The judicial branch interprets laws and ensures justice. Together, these branches work to serve the residents of Oregon and manage state affairs effectively.
