Oregon Book Awards
The Oregon Book Awards are annual literary awards presented by the Oregon Literary Arts organization. Established in 1987, these awards recognize outstanding works by authors from or connected to Oregon. Categories include fiction, poetry, and nonfiction, celebrating both established and emerging writers.
Winners are selected by a panel of judges and receive a cash prize, along with recognition at a ceremony held in Portland. The awards aim to promote the literary community in Oregon and encourage readers to explore local literature, highlighting the diverse voices and stories that emerge from the state.
