Order Of Military Merit
The Order of Military Merit is a prestigious honor awarded to members of the military in recognition of their exceptional service and dedication. Established in Canada in 1991, it acknowledges the contributions of both regular and reserve forces, as well as civilian members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
The order consists of three levels: Commander, Officer, and Member. Recipients are selected based on their outstanding achievements, leadership, and commitment to military excellence. The Governor General of Canada serves as the Chancellor of the order, overseeing the nomination and selection process.
