Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse that provides shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items to children in need around the world. Each year, individuals and families pack these shoeboxes and drop them off at designated collection sites during a specific collection week in November.
The initiative aims to spread joy and hope to children in impoverished communities while also sharing the message of Christianity. Since its inception in 1993, millions of shoeboxes have been distributed to children in over 170 countries, making a significant impact on their lives during the holiday season.
