Onmyoudou
Onmyoudou is a traditional Japanese esoteric practice that combines elements of Shinto, Buddhism, and Taoism. It focuses on the balance of natural forces and the use of spiritual techniques to influence the world. Practitioners, known as Onmyouji, often engage in rituals, divination, and the use of talismans to protect against evil spirits and bring good fortune.
The practice dates back to the Heian period (794-1185) and was influenced by Chinese cosmology and astrology. Onmyoudou emphasizes the importance of harmony with nature and the spiritual realm, making it a unique aspect of Japanese culture and spirituality.
