Olympic Pool
An Olympic Pool is a standardized swimming facility used in the Olympic Games and other international competitions. It measures 50 meters in length, 25 meters in width, and has a minimum depth of 2 meters. The pool is divided into lanes, typically eight, to allow multiple swimmers to compete simultaneously.
The water temperature in an Olympic Pool is usually maintained between 25 to 28 degrees Celsius for optimal performance. These pools are designed to meet specific regulations set by the International Swimming Federation (FINA), ensuring fairness and safety for all athletes participating in events like swimming, diving, and water polo.
