Olympic Beach Volleyball
Olympic Beach Volleyball is a team sport played on sand, featuring two players on each team. The objective is to score points by hitting a ball over a net and landing it in the opponent's court. Matches are played in a best-of-three sets format, with the first team to reach 21 points winning a set, provided they lead by at least two points.
The sport made its Olympic debut at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Games. It is governed by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), which sets the rules and organizes international competitions. Beach volleyball is known for its fast-paced action and requires agility, teamwork, and strategic play.
