Ole Kirk Christiansen
Ole Kirk Christiansen was a Danish carpenter born on April 7, 1891. He is best known as the founder of the LEGO Group, which he established in 1932. Initially, he produced wooden toys and household items, but he later shifted focus to plastic toys after World War II.
In 1949, Christiansen introduced the first interlocking plastic bricks, which would eventually evolve into the iconic LEGO bricks we know today.
