Old Tatar
Old Tatar is a historical Turkic language that was spoken by the Tatar people, primarily in the regions of Tatarstan and surrounding areas in Russia. It is considered a predecessor to modern Tatar and has roots in the languages of the Golden Horde, which influenced its development.
The language was used in various forms of literature and administration from the 15th to the 19th centuries. Although it is no longer widely spoken, Old Tatar remains significant for linguistic studies and understanding the cultural heritage of the Tatar people.
