Old North Church
The Old North Church, officially known as Christ Church in the City of Boston, is the oldest standing church building in Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1723, it is famous for its role in the American Revolution, particularly for the signal lanterns displayed in its steeple to alert the colonists of British troop movements.
