Old Hickory Dam
Old Hickory Dam is a hydroelectric dam located on the Cumberland River in Tennessee. Completed in 1954, it is part of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) system, which aims to provide flood control, electricity generation, and recreational opportunities. The dam creates Old Hickory Lake, which spans approximately 22,000 acres.
