Oingo Boingo
Oingo Boingo was an American new wave band formed in 1979 in Los Angeles, California. The group, originally known as the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, was led by musician Danny Elfman, who later became famous for composing film scores. Their music combined elements of rock, ska, and pop, characterized by energetic performances and eclectic instrumentation.
The band gained popularity in the 1980s with hits like "Weird Science" and "Dead Man's Party". Oingo Boingo's unique sound and theatrical style made them a staple of the era's music scene. They disbanded in 1995, but their influence continues to resonate in alternative music.
