Offeree
An offeree is a person or entity who receives an offer in a contract negotiation. In legal terms, the offeree has the power to accept or reject the offer made by the offeror. The acceptance of the offer by the offeree creates a binding agreement, provided that all other contract elements are met.
The role of the offeree is crucial in contract law, as their decision determines whether a contract is formed. If the offeree accepts the offer, they must do so in the manner specified by the offeror. If they reject the offer or fail to respond, the offer typically expires.
