Obis fish
The Obis fish, also known as the Obis or Obis catfish, is a freshwater species native to the rivers and lakes of Southeast Asia. It is recognized for its elongated body, distinctive whisker-like barbels, and vibrant coloration. This fish typically inhabits slow-moving waters and is often found in muddy or sandy substrates.
Obis fish are popular in the aquarium trade due to their unique appearance and relatively peaceful nature. They thrive in well-maintained tanks with plenty of hiding spots and prefer a diet of both plant matter and small aquatic organisms. Proper care can lead to a long lifespan in captivity.
