OLL
OLL, or Orientation of the Last Layer, is a step in the CFOP method used for solving the Rubik's Cube. It focuses on orienting the last layer's pieces so that the top face of the cube is a single color, typically yellow. This step is crucial before proceeding to the final stage, which is permutation.
There are 57 different OLL algorithms that cubers can learn to efficiently orient the last layer. Mastering these algorithms allows for faster solving times and improved overall performance in speedcubing competitions. Each algorithm has a specific pattern that must be recognized and executed.
