Nusantara
Nusantara is a term that refers to the Indonesian archipelago, which consists of over 17,000 islands. It encompasses a diverse range of cultures, languages, and ecosystems, making it one of the most biodiverse regions in the world. The name itself means "archipelago" in Old Javanese and reflects the unity of these islands.
In recent years, Nusantara has also been used to describe the new capital city of Indonesia, which is being built in East Kalimantan. This project aims to alleviate congestion in the current capital, Jakarta, and promote sustainable development in the region. The new capital is expected to be a modern city that represents Indonesia's future.
