Nursing School
Nursing school is an educational program designed to prepare students for a career in nursing. It typically includes both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience. Students learn about human anatomy, patient care, pharmacology, and medical ethics, among other subjects. Graduates often earn a degree, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Upon completion, students must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed nurses. Nursing school can vary in length, usually taking two to four years, depending on the program and degree pursued.
