Nubian Tahr
The Nubian Tahr is a large, herbivorous mammal native to the mountainous regions of North Africa. It is characterized by its thick, curly fur, which helps it adapt to cold environments. Males are larger than females and have impressive curved horns that can grow up to 90 centimeters long.
These animals are social and often found in small groups, typically consisting of females and their young. The Nubian Tahr primarily feeds on grasses, leaves, and shrubs, using its strong hooves to navigate rocky terrains. Conservation efforts are in place to protect this species, as it faces threats from habitat loss and hunting.
