Norwegian League
The Norwegian League, officially known as Eliteserien, is the top professional football league in Norway. It was established in 1937 and features 16 teams competing annually. The league operates on a promotion and relegation system with the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian football.
Each season runs from April to November, with teams playing a total of 30 matches. The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion. The league is known for its competitive nature and has produced several notable players who have gone on to achieve success in international football.
