Northern and Southern Lights
The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are natural light displays predominantly seen in high-latitude regions around the Arctic. They occur when charged particles from the sun collide with gases in the Earth's atmosphere, creating vibrant colors like green, pink, and purple.
The Southern Lights, or Aurora Australis, are the counterpart to the Northern Lights, visible in the Antarctic region. Similar to their northern counterpart, they result from solar particles interacting with the atmosphere, producing stunning light shows primarily in areas like Antarctica and parts of Australia.
