Non-native Languages
Non-native languages are languages that a person learns in addition to their first language, known as their native language. These languages are often acquired through formal education, immersion, or self-study. For example, a person whose native language is Spanish may learn English as a non-native language.
Learning a non-native language can enhance communication skills and cultural understanding. It allows individuals to connect with speakers of that language and access new information and experiences. Many people around the world are bilingual or multilingual, using their non-native languages in various aspects of life, such as work, travel, and social interactions.
