Nobuhiro Watsuki is a Japanese manga artist best known for creating the popular series Rurouni Kenshin. Born on May 26, 1970, in the city of Kumamoto, he began his career as an assistant to other manga artists before launching his own work. Rurouni Kenshin, which debuted in 1994, follows the story of a wandering swordsman in the Meiji era and has gained a large fanbase worldwide.
