Nobska Lighthouse
Nobska Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Built in 1828, it stands at 48 feet tall and features a white tower with a black lantern. The lighthouse was designed to guide ships safely into Buzzards Bay and Woods Hole Harbor, making it an important navigational aid for maritime traffic.
The lighthouse is situated on a scenic bluff overlooking the ocean, providing stunning views of the surrounding area. Although it is no longer an active lighthouse, it is maintained by the Nobska Lighthouse Trust and is open to the public for tours during the summer months.
