Nizi Project
The Nizi Project is a reality television show created by JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Japan. Launched in 2020, it aimed to form a new girl group that would debut in Japan. The show featured trainees from various backgrounds, showcasing their talents in singing, dancing, and performance.
The project gained significant attention for its unique format, which included auditions, training, and evaluations. Ultimately, the final lineup consisted of nine members, who debuted as the group NiziU. The group's name combines "Nizi," meaning "rainbow" in Japanese, symbolizing diversity and unity among the members.
