Nimba Mountains
The Nimba Mountains are a mountain range located on the border between Guinea, Liberia, and Ivory Coast. They are known for their rich biodiversity and unique ecosystems, which include various species of plants and animals, some of which are endemic to the region. The highest peak, Mount Nimba, reaches an elevation of about 1,752 meters (5,748 feet).
The area is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its ecological significance. The Nimba Mountains are home to several protected areas, including the Nimba Nature Reserve, which aims to conserve the diverse wildlife and habitats found in this mountainous region.
