Nilesat
Nilesat is a satellite communications company based in Egypt. It operates a fleet of geostationary satellites that provide television broadcasting, internet services, and data transmission across the Middle East and North Africa. The company was established in 1996 and has since become a key player in the region's telecommunications industry.
The primary satellite in its fleet, Nilesat 101, was launched in 2000, followed by several others, including Nilesat 201 and Nilesat 301. These satellites enable a wide range of services, including direct-to-home (DTH) television, which allows viewers to receive satellite signals directly to their homes without the need for cable connections.
