Nile Crocodiles
The Nile crocodile is a large reptile found in various freshwater habitats across Africa, particularly in the Nile River and its surrounding areas. They can grow up to 16 feet long and are known for their powerful jaws and strong bodies. These crocodiles are carnivorous, primarily feeding on fish, birds, and mammals.
Nile crocodiles are social animals, often seen basking in the sun or resting in groups. They are excellent swimmers, using their tails to propel themselves through the water. Their skin is tough and scaly, providing protection from predators and environmental factors.
