Nighttime Habitats
Nighttime habitats are environments that come alive after the sun sets. Many animals, such as owls, bats, and raccoons, are nocturnal, meaning they are active during the night. These habitats can include forests, deserts, and wetlands, where creatures adapt to low light conditions to hunt, find food, and avoid predators.
In nighttime habitats, plants also play a role. Some flowers, like moonflowers and evening primrose, bloom at night to attract pollinators such as moths. The cooler temperatures and reduced competition from daytime animals create a unique ecosystem where both flora and fauna thrive under the cover of darkness.
