Nigeria National League
The Nigeria National League (NNL) is the second tier of professional football in Nigeria. It serves as a crucial step for clubs aiming to reach the top division, known as the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). The league features teams from various regions, promoting local talent and fostering competitive football across the country.
Founded in 2003, the NNL operates on a promotion and relegation system with the NPFL and the Nigeria Nationwide League. Clubs compete in a league format, with the top teams earning promotion to the NPFL, while the lower-performing teams face relegation to the Nationwide League.
