Nichidatsu Fujii
Nichidatsu Fujii was a Japanese Buddhist monk and peace activist, born in 1885. He is best known for founding the Nipponzan Myohoji order, which promotes non-violence and peace through the practice of Nembutsu, a form of chanting. Fujii dedicated his life to advocating for peace, especially in the aftermath of World War II.
Fujii traveled extensively, spreading his message of peace and reconciliation. He built peace pagodas in various countries, symbolizing hope and unity.
