New7Wonders
The "New7Wonders" initiative was launched in 2000 to select the world's new seven wonders through a global poll. This project aimed to highlight remarkable human-made structures that represent cultural heritage and architectural achievement. The final list was announced in 2007, showcasing sites from various continents.
The selected wonders include the Great Wall of China, Petra in Jordan, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, Machu Picchu in Peru, Chichen Itza in Mexico, the Roman Colosseum in Italy, and Taj Mahal in India. These sites attract millions of visitors and symbolize the creativity and ingenuity of humanity.
