New Trier West was a high school located in Northfield, Illinois, part of the New Trier Township High School District. It opened in 1970 and served students in grades 9 through 12. The school was known for its strong academic programs and extracurricular activities, including sports and the arts. In 1980, New Trier West merged with New Trier East to form a single high school, which is now known as New Trier High School. This consolidation aimed to enhance educational resources and opportunities for students in the district, creating a more unified school community.
