New South Wales Education
New South Wales Education is governed by the New South Wales Department of Education, which oversees public schools, vocational education, and training. The education system includes primary and secondary schools, with students typically starting at age 5 and completing their secondary education by age 17 or 18.
In addition to public schools, there are also Catholic and independent schools that provide alternative education options. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of diverse learners and includes subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities. Students can also pursue vocational training through TAFE NSW.
