The "New Seven Wonders of the World" is a list created in 2007 through a global poll organized by the New7Wonders Foundation. It highlights remarkable human-made structures that showcase architectural and cultural significance. The selected wonders are the Great Wall of China, Petra in Jordan, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, Machu Picchu in Peru, Chichen Itza in Mexico, the Roman Colosseum in Italy, and Taj Mahal in India.
These wonders were chosen from a list of 200 existing monuments, representing diverse cultures and histories. Each site attracts millions of visitors annually, reflecting the creativity and ingenuity of civilizations throughout time.
