New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) is an American boy band formed in 1984 in Boston, Massachusetts. The group originally consisted of members Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. They gained immense popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits like "Step by Step" and "Hangin' Tough," becoming one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.
After a hiatus in the mid-1990s, NKOTB reunited in 2008 and continued to tour and release new music. Their blend of pop and R&B, along with energetic performances, has earned them a dedicated fan base. The band has also influenced other boy bands, including Backstreet Boys and NSYNC.
