The New Hampshire General Court is the state legislature of New Hampshire. It is a bicameral body, consisting of two chambers: the House of Representatives and the Senate. The General Court is responsible for making state laws, approving the budget, and addressing various issues affecting the state.
The House of Representatives has the largest membership of any state legislature in the U.S., with 400 members. The Senate is smaller, with 24 members. Both chambers meet annually at the state capitol in Concord to discuss and pass legislation that impacts the residents of New Hampshire.
