Nevado Pomerape
Nevado Pomerape is a stratovolcano located on the border between Chile and Bolivia. It stands at an elevation of approximately 6,348 meters (20,827 feet) and is part of the Andes mountain range. The volcano is known for its symmetrical cone shape and is often covered in snow, making it a popular destination for climbers and adventurers.
The last known eruption of Nevado Pomerape occurred in the late 19th century, around 1883. The surrounding area features diverse ecosystems, including high-altitude flora and fauna.
