Net National Product (NNP)
Net National Product (NNP) is an economic measure that represents the total value of all goods and services produced by a country's residents in a given period, minus the depreciation of capital goods. It reflects the net output of a nation, accounting for the wear and tear on physical assets like machinery and buildings.
NNP is an important indicator of a country's economic health, as it provides insight into the sustainability of production levels. It is closely related to Gross National Product (GNP) and Gross Domestic Product (GDP), but offers a more accurate picture by considering the loss of value in capital assets.
