Naxi script
Naxi script is a unique writing system used by the Naxi people, an ethnic group primarily found in Yunnan Province, China. This script is one of the few remaining examples of a pictographic writing system, where symbols represent objects or concepts rather than sounds. It has been used for centuries to record the Naxi culture, history, and religious texts.
The script consists of over 1,000 characters, many of which are derived from ancient Chinese characters and other local symbols. Although it is not widely used today, efforts are being made to preserve and revitalize Naxi script as part of the cultural heritage of the Naxi people.
