Naxi Religion
Naxi Religion is the traditional belief system of the Naxi people, an ethnic group primarily found in southwestern China. It combines elements of animism, ancestor worship, and Tibetan Buddhism. Central to Naxi spirituality is the reverence for nature and the belief that spirits inhabit natural elements, such as mountains and rivers.
The Naxi also practice rituals to honor their ancestors, reflecting their deep respect for family lineage. The Dongba culture, which includes unique scripts and religious practices, plays a significant role in preserving their beliefs. Naxi Religion emphasizes harmony with the environment and the importance of community.
