National Ski Patrol
The National Ski Patrol (NSP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting safety and providing emergency services at ski areas across the United States. Founded in 1938, the NSP trains volunteers in first aid, rescue techniques, and outdoor emergency care to assist skiers and snowboarders.
Members of the NSP work closely with ski area management to ensure safe skiing conditions and respond to accidents on the slopes. They also engage in community outreach and education to raise awareness about skiing safety and responsible mountain behavior.
