National Science Olympiad
The National Science Olympiad (NSO) is an annual competition in the United States that encourages students to engage in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). It is designed for students from elementary through high school, providing them with opportunities to participate in various events that test their knowledge and skills in different scientific disciplines.
Participants in the NSO work individually or in teams to solve problems, conduct experiments, and demonstrate their understanding of scientific concepts. The competition aims to promote critical thinking, teamwork, and a passion for science among young learners, ultimately fostering the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
