National Runaway Safeline
The National Runaway Safeline (NRS) is a nonprofit organization that provides support and resources for runaway and at-risk youth in the United States. Established in 1971, NRS offers a 24/7 hotline where young people can call for help, guidance, and information about safe options. The organization aims to connect youth with local services and resources to address their needs.
In addition to the hotline, NRS provides educational materials and outreach programs to raise awareness about the challenges faced by runaway youth. They work closely with families, schools, and community organizations to promote understanding and prevention of youth homelessness and related issues.
