National History Day
National History Day is an annual educational program that encourages students to engage in historical research and critical thinking. Participants select a historical topic related to a yearly theme, conduct in-depth research, and present their findings through various formats, such as exhibits, performances, documentaries, or papers.
The event culminates in competitions at local, state, and national levels, where students showcase their projects. National History Day aims to promote an understanding of history and its relevance, fostering skills in research, analysis, and presentation. It is celebrated in schools across the United States, involving students from grades 6 to 12.
