National Football Conference
The National Football Conference (NFC) is one of the two conferences in the professional American football league known as the National Football League (NFL). Established in 1970, the NFC consists of 16 teams divided into four divisions: the NFC East, NFC North, NFC South, and NFC West. Each team competes for a chance to reach the Super Bowl, the championship game of the NFL.
The NFC is known for its competitive teams and storied rivalries. Some of the most successful franchises in the conference include the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers. The conference plays a crucial role in determining the overall champion of the NFL each season.
