National Association of Rocketry
The National Association of Rocketry (NAR) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the hobby of rocketry. Founded in 1957, it serves as a resource for rocketry enthusiasts, providing safety guidelines, educational materials, and support for local rocketry clubs. The NAR also organizes competitions and events to encourage participation and skill development among its members.
In addition to fostering a community of rocketry enthusiasts, the NAR advocates for the responsible use of rockets and works to ensure safe practices in the hobby. The organization also collaborates with educational institutions to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through rocketry programs and activities.
